About The Burch Family
Big dreams girl meets country boy for the best of both worlds.
Add in three crazy kids, one giant dog & a barn cat, and you have the Burch Family.
Jordan, the spontaneous, go-getter and matriarch of the family, has always been a dreamer. She launched a successful, award-winning photography career from her teenage home perfecting her technique photographing her friends dressed up, just for fun. Once she made the leap from amateur to pro, her photographic talent took her across the country to shoot destination weddings in amazing locales, ship christenings for the United States Navy and even one of her girl-crush celebrities, fitness model Jamie Eason. Although her most recognizable clients are brides-to-be, wives, families, newborns and much more all along the Gulf Coast.
While maintaining a demanding full time position outside the farm, Jason, the solid foundation of the Burch family, also serves as the resident plumber, electrician and builder of all things on the property. He keeps up with a never ending honey do list thanks to Jordan’s Pinterest obsession and collection of bridal magazines. More importantly, as Jordan dreams up new adventures for the family of five, Jason provides the grounding for her to fly – making for an amazing duo.
Their three kids are perfect blends of the two of them. Handsome (and handful) Jackson is as smart as he is charming while “lady” Juliana is the heart of the Burch kids.
Their newest addition, Joe Douglas, keeps everyone on their toes with his infectious smile and infinite curiosity, one that has almost certainly ensured that he will forever be, the baby.
While Jordan’s photography business continues to grow and ultimately planted the seed for The Burch House, by stumbling on the property she and her family now own, [in what she considers a total God-send] Jordan was inspired to dream big and create the perfect location for weddings, events and more and continues to put most of her focus into The Burch House.
Now that the family of five has made the move to the country and lovingly restored the venue and grounds with glorious southern events in mind, The Burch House is up and running and now serves as both the family’s home (in private living quarters on the property) as well Jordan’s favorite photo shoot location.
